Shipping policy

All items are shipped from Finland.

I offer two different shipping options to choose from. Priority letter or maxi letter by Finnish national postal service Posti and DHL Express.

 

Important information

Note to UK customers:

I am still unable to ship low value orders to UK. I have finally applied for UK VAT number to be able to ship low value orders there again. Once I have acquired my VAT number I will inform about it.

Though UK customers are able to order directly from my store if your cart total is 150euros or more. In this case the store will give you shipping options for your order, if the total is less than 150e, no shipping options will be offered.

Note to United States customers:

As of August 2025, most EU mail carriers has temporarily suspended shipping to the US due to the new tariffs imposed on foreign imports. They do not have correct systems at the moment to collect the required tariff fees.

This means I am unable to provide cheaper shipping options to my US customers at the moment.

I am able to ship to US Through DHL EXPRESS though, but please be aware that DHL will charge you the corresponding tariff rate (15%) and service fee for doing the customs clearance. You may be able to avoid service fee by doing the customs clearance on your own, and I suggest doing so if possible, to reduce the amount of extra costs for your order. I apologize for the inconvenience and extra costs this brings upon US customers.

If you choose this option,  the national postal service in your country is usually the one delivering the package. Note, this options often times comes without tracking number, but on some case tracking number can be provided if corresponding shipping method has been chosen. (Only for EU)

Transit times with this option can vary a lot. Domestic orders (Finnish) usually take around 1-3 business days. European orders can take anywhere between 1-6 weeks.

Rest of the world the shipping times can vary way more, but generally it takes 2-12 weeks.

 

DHL Express

DHL Express is the fastest option I am able to offer for orders outside Finland. Generally it takes 2-7 business days to arrive and it is always tracked. It is also possible to have insurance for orders shipped through DHL Express, if you're buying expensive items and want extra secure for them incase something happens, contact me at scandy_girl@hotmail.com for a quote of shipping fee including insurance.

If there's any problems relating to shipping please contact your local DHL Express customer service with the tracking information before contacting me.

 

Customs clearance and service fee

Orders shipped outside European Union may be subjected to import tax and other customs fees.

I am not liable for these fees since this is something I am unable to control and by ordering from me buyer acknowledges the possibility of these fees. 

If you're required to do customs clearance, I recommend you do it on your own to avoid paying service fees for DHL's customs clearance service.

Packaging

I generally use thick cardboard cases for orders. Prints larger than A3 always comes rolled into a tube, in some cases A3 prints may be rolled into a tube as well, depending a lot of the shipping option buyer has chosen. Mostly all other items are packed into cardboard cases or small bubble wrap letters, depending of the size of the item /volume of the order.

Products are wrapped into silk paper or out in cellophane bags.

Preparing orders

Generally it takes me from few days to up to 2 weeks to ship out orders, depending of the season and volume of orders. If order is huge/includes for example lot of hand embellished prints, it may take me more time to prepare such orders. 

Changing order / mistake on order

If you notice that there's a mistake on your order or you wish to change something, contact me as soon as possible so I can fix things for you. 

If you live in a country where shipping isn't available

I have only chosen countries I know I've shipped to previously for my shipping list. So there's many countries that aren't on that list. If you live in a country to where shipping currently is not available please contact me and I see if I can ship to you. 

There's countries I am unable to ship to and countries where it's too big of a risk of the package to get lost.
